Dear Booth [Colman]-
Recd. yours just after I had written re my leaving here the 14th. Needless to tell you, was delighted to hear all the good news about your TV activities. Think its wonderful, & don't consider its luck. You have worked plenty hard for it Booth & its coming to you.
Got a terrific bang re Jimmy Murphy. That’s him alright - what a character. If you happen to run into him again, tell him he can ship me one of those Pepsi-Cola portable ice boxes he promised me to 111, Franklin Ave, Santa Monica.
All news when I see you Booth.
Eda joins in kind thoughts.
As ever-
Note from the Editor
Jimmy Murphy was Stan Laurel’s valet and close friend during his days at the Hal Roach Studio. He later took a job working for the head of Pepsi-Cola.
